Well, according to HP Marketing, the difference between the MSC 300P
and the MSC 300 is that the P version also adds programmable special
effects like alternately lighting of each slide and other things. He also
said that neither can do stereo projection and that Rollei only made one
projector specially for stereo projection (Walleye something or other)
and that Rollei has answered this question many times.
It seems that if a projector could hold two 2x2 mounts and light them at
the same time (which they said could be done) and if you had polarizers
in front of the projecting lens that it could work for stereo. Maybe the
lenses
pointed parallel to each other and did not converge. I have not projected
stereo and have not seen it either but aren't both L & R images projected
over each other?
By the way, it seems easier to me now to just buy two projectors.
Do they still make the Vivatar? If so where is a good place to buy it?
P.S. The Rollei projector for sale is a model P3800 (greyish color).
