New Lenticulars!

As today is Saturddday and P3D is usually a slow day, I was watching 
television. On one of the premium channels (arts or something) they
showed an ad for the station. What was interesting about it was that
they showed a black VM viewer and showed the different subjects the
channel carries as the lever was pressed down. Right after that they
showed an ad for the video The Adventures of Pinocchio. This was playing
in the theatres in the summer. Anyways what caught my eye is that they
mentioned the front cover of the video featured a magic action art. Of
course it looked like a lenticular. I went to the mall to check it out.
The lent showed Pinocchio as a wooden puppet and as the lent is rotated,
he morphs into a real boy with Geppetto the puppet maker beside him! It's
not in 3d but is good quality. When I got it home I opened the wrapping
and found the lenticular is removable from the case. The back of the lent
says that it was produced using a stereographic process which integrates
photographic, digital, video and computer generated images.
While at the mall I decided to check out the record store and guess what?
Another lenticular acquisition. This is another CD animation lenticular
cover. This one also is quite good and shows, what else but a whole bunch
of eyes moving around. The name of this CD is TOOL ANIMA. I haven't
listened to the music yet but the cover says explicit contents. The CD is
produced by BMG music. The number on the cover is 61422-31087-2.
