I wonder, do you remember if it was made by Fuji? If it was, it probably
was the one. But find it strange, because I think it might be a new camera
and might not even be available in the states. I imagine it would be
expensive in any case as you mention. I did check with Fuji Canada and
of course they didn't know anything about it, same as when I called
Vivitar Canada in 1992 regarding the Qdos. I then tried Fuji US and they
said they heard of it but could not give any info on it because they don't
carry it. I am not sure if they meant they carried it in the past or
never carried it. I tried a few golf stores and they never heard about it
either. My guess is that it's only available in Japan where it probably is
marketed toward golfers. Golf is very big in Japan, I hear.
I wonder if any of the P3D list members in Japan know anything about it.
Gabriel
P.S. Regarding the Qdos, I did contact Vivitar in the US in 1992 and they
mentioned they had a vague idea about it and it would be selling for about
$450 US. When I heard that I passed, till I learned a couple of years
later, that it was being liquidated. I was to early, then a bit late, but
at least I got a better deal. Now I wish I didn't pass on those $29
Nimslos at the time.
