Re: 3D FAQ
Thanks to Sid Herbage for letting me know that there were a couple
of bum pages in the Acrobat version of the 3DFAQ file. I've re-distilled it
(and generated thumbnail images) so it seems to work better now.
This is Joel Alpers January 95 edition. It is a fairly large file
about (225K).
Acrobat works well when it works, but peopole have reported problems
trying to print on smaller machines. What you may want to do is to
try printing a few pages at a time (maybe 10?) and see how that goes
if you have problems. You might also want to try both reader 3.0 and
2.1 (both versions are currently available for Mac, PC, Unix machines).
As always, point your browser/ftp client to
http://bobcat.etsu.edu and follow the links or use anonymous ftp
to bobcat.etsu.edu in the /pub/photo/photo-3d/info directory. Filename
of 3dfaq.pdf. The straight postscript format
is also still available as 3dfaq.ps.
THANKS
