Unlike 2D photographers, stereo photographers are a bit hesitant to shoot
without looking through the camera. Keeping the camera level is the
greatest fear here.
In my first wedding, when the couple came out of the church and was
showered with bird food (!), my view was blocked so I raised the camera and
shot sight unseen. It turned out great with "frozen" bird food in mid air,
happy crowds and the couple trying to protect themselves. Was my 2nd
favorite picture from the wedding.
Moral: Try it! Most probably will not work but you never know!
