I resemble this remark!!  

When I find stereo views mounted  L-R-L for both wall-eyed and
cross-eyed viewing, I point my right eye at the middle view, and swing
my left eye back and forth from the far left to the far right, etc. so
that I see it both ways.

I suppose all those years of motorcycle riding have shaken something
loose in my head to make this possible ;-)
