Catching up

My service provider has been down for a few days, so I got 26 digests
all in one go!
I have NOT read them all yet, so a few random comments that may have
been addressed already...
Re Mike Fisher's article in the Stereoscopic Society's Journal.
We will be publishing some alternative views from other users of RBT
products - several of our committee members successfully use various
camera models, very successfully, and I use their projectors...
Mike's article was, as Jon Golden suggested, simply his own personal
view.
Re the various Rollei twin lensed projectors.
Peter White, one of our members, used to use two of these projectors for
dissolve stereo projection. These were set up so that one projector
always threw the left image and the other, the right. He did NOT
consider it possible to modify a single projector to throw both sides of
a stereo slide. For one thing, the transformer is not rated for both
bulbs at the same time... There was also a rather rigid start-up regime
that had to be followed or the projectors would jam up solid.
Re the Chinese RBT copy mounts.
I was surprised to see that they have only just surfaced at Photokina -
Widescreen Centre have been stocking them for a very long time...
More responses when I've scanned a few more of the digests...
