Not having a FED myself, yet, if it is as you describe then definitely
this would serve as an off switch. This makes for interesting reading
for me because I leaning toward buying an FED, when I save enough pennies.
I remember it being mentioned that their are dealers in the US that will
inspect and recondition them before selling them. Can anyone let me know
by email or here on the list, who they are?

P.S. I wish my wife bought me an FED, but I wasn't a good boy recently. ;-)
