3D news

I just spotted a book in our local B. Dalton's called _Snoopy: Not Your
Average Dog_, by Charles Schulz. Being a cartoon afficianado (ok, I admit
it ... I have other interests besides 3D), I picked it up. It looks like a
good collection of Snoopy strips, along with historical material, etc. What
really caught my attention, though, was the pair of anaglyph glasses in
front. Turns out there are maybe half a dozen anaglyph pictures in the
book, although the effect was very disappointing. The lens colors in the
glasses didn't seem to match the ink colors very well, and even when you
could fuse the two images, there wasn't much depth to them. If you love
Snoopy, get the book. Don't get it for the 3D.
