Projector gate temperature

Has anyone taken temperature measurements within the slide gate from
typical stereo slide projectors such as TDC or Realist?  Does the
temperature rise over time?

Re sensitivity of color film to red laser light:  Graph 7 on p.69 of
Kodak Biomedical Photography (Kodak publication N-19; CAT 100 3888)
indicates peak spectral sensitiviy of the Cyan layer at slightly less
than 650 nm.  I have also seen spectral sensitivity charts on Kodak
professional film specification sheets.
