Projectors etc. for Sale (long!)

Stereo projectors and supplies for sale!

All projectors come with original bulbs (as received) and polarizing
filters. They have been cleaned, lubricated and tested. (This is Dr. T's
PLUG AND PLAY philosophy!!!) They work fine and do not need new filters
but you might consider replacing them (check with Reel 3-D). 90 days
warranty if not satisfied for any reason, but no warranty on the bulbs
(replacement bulbs available from Reel 3-D). Full postage will be added.
Guaranteed delivery for Christmas!!! (also please see NOTE at the end!)

Compco Triad Projector w/4" lenses .................................. $325
Complete with case, stereo & mono carriers, copy of instructions. Note
desirable 4" lenses. This projector originally sold for more than the TDC.
Has a couple of fancy features that the TDC does not but the biggest plus
of this projector is that it is that it works great because (unlike the
TDC) it can open the lenses wide enough as needed for the stereo window to
be set probably when using the Dukes Projection Previewer!

The following are two fine TDC projectors, sold complete with case and copy
of instructions. The 716 uses different slide carrier, has ceramic lamp
holders and a switch to run the fan independently of the lamps. Was
designed to use the brighter 750W bulbs.

TDC 716, complete, 4" lenses ........................................ $425
Complete means: Projector and case in almost mint condition, original cable
is attached to the projector, regular slide carrier and mono carrier,
_original_ instructions, 750 W bulbs and polarizing filters as received.
This is a fine projector, great for use in the house (4" lenses). Yes, you
could pay more for this complete set, but, WHY??? :)

TDC 116, complete, 5" lenses ............,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,........... $325
Also in fine condition, w/case, regular slide carrier (the "older style"
ready made for 7p), copy of instructions, fitted with 750 W bulbs (bright!),
etc. This is also a fine projector and a good choice for a club. This is
like the one Dr. T has at home and he loves it! He paid Harry Poster more
than $325, 8 years ago!

TDC Stereo Project-Or-View, as is ................................... $150
I do not have the cord. Cannot try it but it looks complete and in decent
condition with bulbs, a big mirror, rear projection screen, what appears to
be a regular 116 carrier, etc. (but, no cord and no case!) This is a
table-top projector that can be used to project to its rear projection
screen or can be also used as a regular projector. Anybody wants to try it
for a little bit more than the price of the 116 carrier???

Projector supplies:

Slide carrier for 116/716 projector ................................. $75
Someone has modified a 716 carrier to fit in the 116 projector.
Modification is done by fitting an extra part to make it thicker and a bar
at the bottom to fit correctly. Since the extra added parts are fitted
with screws, I believe that they can be taken off and the carrier could be
used with a 716 projector. The way it will be supplied will work for the
116 projector. Regular 5p apertures in this one.

Slide carrier for 116 as is ........................................ $35
This carrier is separated in 3 parts. It can be used by using the 2 parts
but there is nothing to center the slide in place. You can use it by
marking how far to insert the slide, or you can try and put the third piece
where it belongs. The carrier is riveted so it is not easy (for me) to put
it together. I believe that a clever person could fix it. A not
mechanically inclined person can still use it as is with appropriate
markings and a little coordination.

TDC mono carriers (for 116) ........................................ $25
Seemingly useless since they allow you to project only one pair of the
stereo, BUT, I believe they can be modified to be used for standard or
non-standard stereo slides by opening another aperture!

Adapter to make a 716 carrier fit in 716 ........................... $35
Most people will tell you that this adapter will allow the Selectron
Carrier to fit in the 116 projector. While it will do that, it will also
allow ANY 716 slide carrier to fit in the 116 projector!

TDC Selectron carrier (for 716, or 116 w/adapter) .................. $115
>From the Stell estate. Looks like some of the rivets were replaced with
screws. Works fine! Comes with a support bar to support the extra weight
of the slide trays.

TDC Selectron carrier (same) ....................................... $115
The original thing. No support bar. The Selectron carrier allows you to
use trays (sold separately) preloaded with 30 slides. You push the slide
in to project. Return and advance the carrier to the next slide. Helps
keep your presentation organized. (Dr. T is known for dropping slides in
the floor... with this accessory he will have no problem!)

Set of 6 Trays for your Selectron w/carrying case ................. $100
This comes from the Dr. B. Stell estate. The good Doctor carried his slide
presentations preloaded in six trays (total of 180 slides, about the size
of a good complete stereo projection show) and carried them around in a
nice custom "Keystone" case. The trays have his name taped everywhere. He
is a well-known PSA member.

Trays for Selectron carrier ...................................... $15 ea

And, for the VM enthusiast:

VM Stereomatic 500 projector, 3" lenses, no case ................. $225
This is Dr. T's projector (he is upgrading to a 2 1/4".) He paid $300 to
buy it a year ago! Copy of instructions.

Replacement cord for VM 500 projector ............................ $10
Modified extension cord.
