Re: New 3D software

I checked out the website for the 3D software mentioned by Gabriel. The
description sounds interesting but several *flags* came up for me. One is
the mention of automatic 2D clipart conversion the other is the free usage
of the term *3D* BOTH when they are obviously talking about stereo images
AND when discussing 2 1/2D topics. To them it supposedly is the same. This
makes it difficult to accept what they say at face value.

Their product is CD-ROM based and the main program at $59 includes demos of
*high end* 3D programs such as TrueSpace. This indicates to me that they
consider their product as something less than these other programs. You can
buy TrueSpace for around $100. The specific software Gabriel read about is a
separate program that is evidently newer and specific to Win95.

They have pictures of the product packages on their website, but the gallery
of example images from their software was empty and under construction. I'm
going to check out a couple demos they provide and see if I can get a better
idea of what they are really offering. Their URL is:
