FYI, Dr. T was writing his own computer 3d program back in 1989 to 
generate stereo pairs given a set of x,y,z coordinates and simple
plotting instructions. The program allowed in situ rotation of the 
object and change of parallax and perspective.  Small objects could be
merged to form a larger object.  These were simple wire models but 
had interesting educational applications.  In my mind it is quite an 
achievement that this was done on an 8088 computer running Trubo C.
