3D past and present (was Holmes views)

I guess the way I approached the comment about being born a century
too late is by asking what is better, living 100 years ago at the
peak of stereo views (but almost no personal 3d photography), 45
years ago at the peak of Realist-format photography (also VM), or
today where we can have the stereo cameras and also views etc. and
many of them at lower prices? My answer is that today is a very
good time for the stereo imaging enthusiast.

Even if you look at the narrow area of slide film Realist stereo
photography you will find better and cheaper films and other accessories
(digital light meters, electronic flashes, etc.)

The prospect of computer 3d makes today and the future even more exciting.
Is short, I am happy I discovered 3d a few years ago at my prime age and do
not wish to be transferred back in time...

George
