Re: melting chips II
There has been another report of melting RBT chips this time with
a TDC 116 projector. Is something unique about the RBT mounts?
Do they tend to get not and melt easily when projected with the
black side towards the lamps?
As I've said, I am using a TDC projector with 750W bulbs and never
had any problems with heat. This projector has a very strong cooling
fan. I once saw another TDC with a much weaker fan but Jim Motley and
myslef decided that the previous owner had changed fans. The original
TDC fan provides excellent cooling. There is also a heat absorbing
glass and my experience is that the slides are kept cool.
Has anybody else experienced any heat problems with RBT (or other) mounts
in TDC projectors?
