Great pic Bob. After you posted the message on P3D, I went to check it
out. I said to myself, now where did I see that bear before? Then I went
back to read your comments again regarding how you took the picture. After
rereading your post mentioning that it was a X-mass tree ornament, it
jogged my memory that I had seen it for sale at Rochester (and in the P3D
archives?). I think it was made by Hallmark if I am not mistaken a few
years back. BTW what 3D picture is the bear enjoying?! Also after
rereading your post I was surprised that you mentioned it was done with
a flat bed scanner and moved the ornament slightly. Your right it came
out surprisingly well. I wouldn't have guessed that this would work. I
thought it was done with a camera. This raises alot of potential using
flat bed scanners or even photocopiers. Just think, instant 3D pics and
macro at that! Can't wait for Monday to get back to work and take some 3D pics
of my hand, face or whatever. ;-)
