de Toth is very outspoken, I haven't seen this article. He wrote an
autobiographical book 'Fragments-Portraits from the Inside' published
by Faber and Faber in 1994. It is more about movie history than 3D
movie history, he seems to leave out more than he includes...
interesting reading. He was interviewed in Filmfax magazine by Anthony
Slide in Sept. 1995. They wrote an interview book together, "Put the
Drama in Front of the Camera'. The book was to be published in the
spring of 1996...but I haven't seen it out yet (also by Faber and
Faber). de Toth also directed 'Bounty Hunter' and 'The Stranger wore a
Gun' in 3D. Raoul Walsh (also one-eyed) directed 'Gun Fury' in 3D.
The book '3-D Movies' is great & available from Reel 3-D...

The book 'Four Aspects of the Film' is out-of-print, but it has a
thorough history of pre-1970 3D films.
Wide Guage Film and Video Newsletter has had several articles on 3D
films...http://members.aol.com/widenews
The book 'Amazing 3-D' has great illustrations and can probably can
be found. You can reach Daniel L. Symmes, one authors at...

Good Luck,
