3DS Stereo TV!?

This is a bit of topic but has anyone seen adverts for a TV with a 3DS
system like the one I saw last night (10/12/96) here n the UK . The 3DS
symbol made me sit up and take notice at first but in case anybody is
wondering although it probably stands for 3-Dimensional Stereo it is of
course a sound system. Apparently it gives surround sound with four
internal speakers .
 Something called 3D stereo(sound) was demonstrated on the UK science
program Tomorrows World a few years back if I remember right in simulcast
with stereo FM radio .The live broadcast was impressive but I have problems
recording stereo FM onto my video and the effect was lost in the recording.
