Interesting. An old college classmate of mine just directed his first film
after years of writing TV. It was a sci-fi picture ("Dinosaur Valley
Girls") with some scenes in the "present day" and some in an alternate
universe full of dinosaurs and busty cave girls. He also shot the two
different time periods with Eastman and Agfa films to get a different look
for each period.
