After Ken Hamilton wrote about his disappointment regarding the
Toy Story reel, I decided to look at it, since I have also
been disappointed with some of the reels issued somtimes.
After checking it out I was surprised that you found it poorly
done, 3D wise. I would have to agree with Dr.T and say give it
another chance and check it out again. The floor and wings, looked
fine to me, for their 3D effects. Actually I would say this is one
of their finer works. One thing thou, which I find surprising that
Dr.T or you didn't mention, is that I found some to be slightly
fuzzier than usual. Yes even fuzzy for me, and that tells you
something, if you know my background. Of course this is, viewing
it with the same viewer that Elmo likes to use (the cheap red one).
Now before anyone says the viewer has poor optics, all I can say
is that I have reels that look very sharp in the viewer, so I don't
think the viewer optics are all that bad. Unless the "cheap" viewer
is able to take fuzzy images and make them appear sharper.

Gabriel, waiting for Satan, oops I mean Santa! ;-)
