I completely agree with you (stereo-photographically speaking).  For you
and I, all trips are stereo opportunities and that means lots of film.
However these two don't speak that language and it was too late for the
Berlitz seminar.  :-)  They took flat cameras and plenty of print film
for the majority of shots, so it's not like they are going with only the
one camera and one roll of Slowdachrome (that would be awful).  This way
(maybe) the Stereo shots will be well thought-out and may be better as a
result.  Kelly also knows about the Cha-cha method, so may get some 3-D
that way with her p&s camera.

For people used to drop-in loading and point-n-shoot mentality (95% of
the general picture-taking public?), rewinding and reloading an older
camera can be a major hassle, even when it as simple as the Kodak.  I
wanted them to remember their stereo experiences in a positive light.
Once they're hooked, however....

If anyone down under spots a young freckled blonde and her boyfriend
using a Kodak Stereo in the next few weeks, say "Hi Kelly" and offer to
change the film for her.
