After my comments to this group, George contacted me and informed me 
about some of the by-laws of the Chicago club of which I knew 
nothing.  I did know you had to attend one meeting before joining but 
not that you had to attend two consecutive meetings before they would 
consider you for membership.

I apologize to George if he thought my comments were "aimed" at him.  
They were NOT.  From his comments to me, I don't think he did but I 
want to make it clear to everyone that my knowledge was somewhat 
limited.  I also admit that the nice people of the club can be a 
little stubborn in their ways.

As I told George, after I sent my message, I called the chancellor, 
who I have neveer talked with on the phone before and she talked 
with me.  With her blessing I am off the Heart Association.  I think 
I got to her as she wanted to talk with me about the newspaper 
article about me being the "Cook of the Week" in a local newspaper.
Thewy did mention a hobby of mine was stereo photography.
