The way this is written, it _could_ mean Zanuck was watching flat rushes 
(of whatever), 3D rushes of "Gorilla at Large" or "Inferno" & CinemaScope
rushes of "The Robe". The only mention in 3-D MOVIES (also written by
R.M. Hayes) of "The Robe" is that it was made by TCF in CinemaScope. 
I have found 3-D MOVIES to be pretty thorough & generally mentions any 
small possibility of a film having been made in 3D. 

One more note...FOUR ASPECTS OF THE FILM mentions "The Robe" in three 
areas. (1) color, (2) widescreen and (3) sound...but not in the 4th 
(depth).

Sorry, I can't help. But, it is very hard to believe that they even 
considered "The Robe" for 3D.
