Re: First sighting of DrT on photo-3d!

That's a good suggestion Peter and I've said that one day I'll have my own
Web page. (As soon as I compile my quotes and find free time! ;)) But you
are working under the hypothesis that most 3ders have web access. That's
not the case. My book will be for those who do not have access to the web
(and there are plenty out there, I can assure you.) Those who do, can
search the photo-3d archives (as I have done) and pull out the information
for FREE. (I do plan to add a few extra editorial comments in my book.)
Also, and most important (you computer people can go ahead and flame me!)
I get more pleasure from flipping a book than clicking a mouse. Maybe it
is me, but I look forward to each new issue of Stereo World, I love my
Stereo Realist Manual and other 3d books and would not care to see them in
a disk. Also, judging from how many times the same questions come up here
in photo-3d that should give you some indication of how efficiently people
are using the web and photo-3d archives.
No way! Dr. T's Famous Quotes will be in printed form. (Published every
few years, perhaps! ;)
