The important question is "what kind of Minolta cameras?"

-The older SRT line is mechanical and you need a dual mecahnical release
cable like the one for sale by Reel 3-D.

-The later X-700 and Maxxum lines have electrical release and you are
better off (in the X-700 I know you can still use mechanical cables)
getting two electrical release cables and splicing them together.

I use X-700 cameras and would be happy to answer any questions regarding
those.
