Realist slide mounts

I got my two first rolls of Realist slide film back and, after a couple
hours,
finished meticulously mounting eight slides in Realist normal mounts. They
look wonderfull compared to my Nimslo, I'm sorry to say. The focus is better
and of course the extra width is great. When I purchased those mounts
Dr. T. warned me not to fall in love with them; he was right.
And yes, Dr. T, I did not bracket my snow shots, and many are perhaps 5/8ths
of
an f/stop under exposed:) I just have to hold my three dollar viewer closer
to the light!
One thing though, I seem to have vignetting on most of the pictures. Even on
the ones that were at f/11. I'm not sure how to fix it. Maybe, I should just
use
a tripod and keep it at1/150. They were all hand held pictures on wet drizzly
days in the snow. I'm anxious to try it on a sunny day, with a tripod!
I think I'm going to use my homemade ground glass and check the focus on the
Nimslo, just to make sure I'm getting the most out of it.
I do enjoy mounting them, and I hope I can get as fast as Dr. T:)
Grant
