Dr. George A. Themelis complains

>I would like to politely ask Gabriel and Paul to spend their time
>more productively elsewhere than trying to analyze my personality!
>I am particularly annoyed when statements are made about me that are
>totally incorrect. Like the list that follows:

Well you seem to analyze everyone elses personality and think you know
what is best for everyone else concerned! Not complaining mind you, just
telling it like it is. Giving the doctor a bit of his own medddicine. ;-)
So I think you should be able to take it, medddicine and everything
else like a man just like we have swallowed that bitter pill. ;-)
In any case the ensueing discussions had some educational spin offs
discussing the different formats. Example is when you discussed the
Belplasca and the merits on 7p. I had compliemented you on that one even!
As for my statements that you mentioned were incorrect, I can prove other
wise. But this has dragged on long enough and we both have made our points.
Besides the entertainment factor has run it's course and if anyone is
still interested they will have to wait for my book out soon (if George
maintains his numerous and humorous contradictions frequency up) entitled
"Famous DrT Contradictions". Thanks Dr.T for the title, great!

>I have always supported the Realist and the 5p format (and I still do)
>especially from people like yourself who tried to reduce its value.

No I never tried to reduce its value. Far from it. Off list with
discussions with people talking about the Realist and other cameras,
I recommended staying with the Realist if quality was a primary
concern over other factors. Far from me trying to reduce its value
what I try to do is counteract your blowing the Realist out of all
proportions, ESPECIALLY when someone is NOT espousing your beloved
Realist. FYI I purchased the Stereo Realist Manual on Tom Martin's
fine auction. Now why would I do that if I didn't like it. And as I
have said in the past I have nothing against it and fine it to be a
fine camera. But there are others also that are suited to different
purposes and have different advantages. We have gone thru this offlist
awhile back briefly and won't go into any more detail.

>I am still skeptical about your VM viewer conversion. You want to
>convince me? Send me one (on loan). I will give you (and the list) my
>honest opinion.

That's no problem with me. Actually I am honored that you are skeptical.
This makes it sound as this simple conversion is more special than it
really is. Thanks for being skeptical. I would have loved to send one
to you for better or worse but I much regret that I can't.

Gabriel
