Re: Jloca Stereo Rapid

Sounds like a good camera Fred! Prof. Werner Wiser's book
describes (3 pictures for every camera too!) the following Ilocas
(note, Iloca, not Jloca) all made by Wilhelm Whitt in Hamburg
Germany:
Iloca Stereo (v. 1) 7p, 1950
Iloca Stereo (v. 2) 7p, 1951 (I have this one)
Iloca Stereo II 5p, 1954
Iloca Stereo Rapid 5p, 1955
>From the description and pictures it looks like a fine camera
with many modern features. He notes that there is also a version
with Steinheil 3.5 lenses and Veco shutters (B, 1/25 to 1/200).
Also sold at Stereograms Iloca in GB.
The big question is how much you paid (or is this a sell-3d
subject?) and where can we get one that cheap?!?! -- George
