TDC Colorist Question

I have a friend that has a TDC Colorist, he is wondering about flash and sync
for that camera.  What does he need other than , I imagine, that little
adapter that Reel 3-D sells to get the old style hot shoe to the new style
flash counterpart.

What speeds will ehcamera sync to flash at.

Any other tips.

I have always been a Realist user....so the TDC has never been anything I am
familiar with.
