A good time to quickly mention the virtues of a modern variable AC power
supply for DC viewers such as the Red Button. My PS-1 power supply gives
me excellent control of the illumination output of frosted halogens, and
also allows me to instantly configure my viewers to an "always on" hands
free mode for slide mounting marathons.
Inexpensive, well made and easily used with just about any 2 cell
viewer... when used in conjunction with a Red Button, makes a less
expensive and IMO superior AC/DC viewer when compared with a Kodaslide
II.
Dr. T approved! 8-)
