Maybe one day I'll get one of those. I would like to ask which are the
features that impressed Ken the most and how do features # 3 and # 4
compare with his good old TDC 116:
1. Slide Dissolve as a way to go from one slide to the next.
2. Slide Dissolve for special effects
3. Sharp lenses
4. Bright image
5. Quiet operation
Individuals and stereo clubs have been using the TDC for many decades now.
Is it worth investing $1700+ when $300 will get you a decent stereo
projector? Is this one the cases of diminishing returns where a low cost
instrument will let you enjoy 95% of what is involved in stereo projection
while investing lots of money will get you get part of the remaining 5%?
I have nothing against spending money for top quality. I am just curious
to hear some opinions and perhaps be convinced to spend the money myself!
