|stereophotography, but this past year I finally got back to the Grand
|Canyon and took plenty of shots with my trusty Realist.  I took some
|aerial hypers from the plane when we left, but I enjoy the Realist shots
|just as much as the hypers.

Paul - I guess that wasn't you I saw on the South Rim who was about
75 years old a few years ago :-)

That fellow was the most recent guy who had a Realist around his neck
in a "non enthusiast" type setting. I was going to speak to him but
he had a flock of kids with him (grand kids?) and I wasn't "wearing"
my Realist at the time, so didn't intrude.

I was at Yellowstone (old faithful) a couple of times several years
apart. Although I saw no Realists (and Yellowstone is GREAT for
stereo slides - geysers, mud pots, steam, etc etc etc) but I did
note a complete shift from film movie cameras to videocams. Almost
a 100 percent changeover in perhaps 3 years. 

Interesting the way technology changes...
