I would certainly bring mine. The Houston channel is certainly worth 
a visit. You can see it from a bridge at night, and it looks like 
Dante's inferno. Lotza glitzy architecture downtown. Padre Island not 
too far away, and the place is loaded with refineries and the like. 
(I love 'em -- all those giant silver balls, shiny tubes, and upended 
doorknobs.) And the air is an attractive shade of green most of the 
year ;-)
