A friend of mine had one got one of these as a gift. He felt it was a
useless piece of trash! It was merely cardboard with a vinyl covering, and
it wouldn't even stay together. The lenses were plastic as well. It claimed
to be a "family heirloom". His girlfriend gave it to him. They have now
split up. You figure it out.

A much better investment would be an original, which can still be found for
under $50 in flea markets. Or better still invest in one of Alan Lewis'
creations.
