I bought one of these a about a year and a half ago and found it to be a
rather impressive set. True the pieces are made of cardboard and the lenses
are plastic, but it's easily put together and the result is pleasing. The
hood needs to be glued on one side at a time in order for it to stay well. I
rarely used the tape supplied. It works very well. The only dissapointment
was the 3-d "adapter" it's simply a piece of cardboard to slide a disposable
camera with. Around my area, authentic stereoscopes of decnt quality are very
pricey (about $100-200).
