Realist as weapon

Well I got into my first bar fight.  I was minding my own business
in a bar in New Orleans.  Things got rowdy near me and a fight broke out.

Well the fight got too close pinned me in a corner and one guy swung at me;
I hit him with my camera.  Now you normally would not think that a
camera could take that sort of abuse..but a realist is built strong.  It
would seem much stronger that the guy I hit.  The guy staggered back and
looked dazed, then choose an easier target to pick on and I slipped out of
the bar.

Is this the first document use of a stereo realist as a club?  (The
camera is fine and no light leaks developed)
