Nope.  In fact the anaglyph glasses in clinical supplies catalogs more
usually have the red on the right, which was the only way I saw them for
several years.  Now I mostly do them the other way & I don't notice any
difference whatsoever.  Perhaps there was something else wrong with the
ones you viewed...?
