If you are moving from left to right, the first picture will be the "left
eye" picture, and then the camera will travel to the position of the "right
eye". If you are moving the other direction, then the first picture is the
"right eye" image, and the camera will move into the "left eye" position.
Keeping the right eye image and the left eye image straight is all that
matters, the order they were taken--the "first" and "second" pictures--is
irrelevant (this is 3D, remember? They are BOTH ONE picture!). Of course
the problem of other moving objects (ie. the plane's wing) throws a monkey
wrench into the whole thing, and you should try to avoid that, even if it
means climbing over someone elsewhere in the cabin to get an unobstructed
view.
