Reel 3-D New Catalog (No. 19) is out!

Just got Reel 3-D's latest catalog, No. 19. For what it is worth, I am a
collector of Reel 3-D catalogs. I have every catalog that Reel 3-D has
ever put out (first in 1978). No, I have not been into 3d that long but I
had to beg, steal and bribe to build this collection ;). I hope that one
day it will have some value. It is virtually impossible to find the first
catalogs today. These are, IMO, historical documents. It is interesting
to see what products was Reel 3-D offering in 1980 (that's 17 years ago,
ouch!) and at what prices. It is never too late to start your own
collection today!!! ;)
This new catalog has a few changes over the previous one. The following
caught my eye:
1. No Albion mounts! In their place are slip-in mounts :(, including the
new size of 7p. This is the first cardboard slip-in stereo mount for
European format to be offered since the 50s and it is the first stereo
mount of this type to conform to ISO standards.
2. Paul Wing's book "Stereoscopes..." is offered for sale ($47.95 for the
softcover version and $72.95 for the hardcover)
3. John Waldsmith's "Stereo Views" has been discounted to $21.95 for the
hardcover version. If you don't have this book, get it NOW!!! It is the
best and most comprehensive reference ever written on the subject and has
information from stereo views (cards) to View Master. It has the first VM
list ever published including estimated prices. It has been (and still
remains to a good degree) the guide to price VM reels.
4. Kodak Stereo Flash Adapter (converts ASA Bayonet to a standard PC).
That's all I can see at first glance in my areas of interest. For more
information contact Reel 3-D at Reel3D@xxxxxxx or visit their WEB page at
