RE: Nishika 3D

Brenda,

Yes, the Nishika is like the Nimslo in that it has four lenses and takes
four half frame (4P) images at the same time. So you can use slide film
and get it processed anywhere, as long as you specify "DO NOT MOUNT, DO
NOT CUT". You'll have to mount them yourself in HALF FRAME mounts that
you can get from Reel 3D in California, or the Widescreen Centre in London.
The only draw back is that it has plastic lenses, and I'm told it has a
chunk of metal in the body to make it feel like a more substantial camera,
and probably won't give you the quality of the Nimslo, or 50's stereo cameras
like the Realist or Kodak or Revere, etc. (which gives a wider image (5P)).
(Dr. T, forgive me for listing the Nimslo with the Realist) :)

Or you can use print film and have then developed as lenticular prints
(like those 3D postcards of years back).

To get the lenticular prints send your unprocessed film to:
In the states:
Nimstec, at 4850 River Green Parkway, Duluth GA, phone: (770) 497-0727
Give them a call for an order form and price list.

Or in the UK:
Check out their website at: http://www.wscreen.demon.co.uk

Hope this answers your question.

PS: The Nishika sells for quite a bit less that $100 usually. Whereas
the Nimslo usually sells for around $100, or less.
