I have a 8" slide bar that was made by jasper engineering  1240-A Pear
Avenue. Mountain biew california 94043  415-967-1578
it sold for $79.00 including the shipping.
it is a very well made bar and suggest anyone interested try to see if
these are still available. i have no affiliation, only have been very
pleased with mine. they make other larger bars and verical mount systems
as well. i should say USED to, i hope they are still doing this.
