Nishika 3-D

Humorously I just joined the list because I found a Nishika 8000 in my
local "Savers" I ran the word "Nishika" through my search engine and came
up with zero. "3-D" got me here. Now, my first digest has a bunch of info
on the Nishika. Beautiful !

OK -- inside the camera is a phone number in Hederson, NV 702/454-9000 I
called it today and got a recorded message that they don't take live calls
and would I please write them a letter. Ominous.

My wife and I went to Harvard Square in Cambridge Mass today( we live in
Boston). While walking around after lunch I saw a Nishika 8000 in the
window of Crimson Camera. The tag said $200. I had called them in the
morning and they said that they never heard of Nishika and that they
thought 3-D cameras were key-chain stuff you get in Crackerjack boxes.
Interesting.

Hey -- with the help on this list I will fool with mine and learn what I
can. It's quite new -- seems to work -- and cost me five bucks. I have
found fun in valueless objects -- witness my wife and kids. Ouch !

Don't fool yourselves about that lead in the camera base -- it's Chinese
lead. Has that Chink-Chi -- Makes a big difference ! :-)
