But think of the Nishika as a *disposable* weapon!  If it breaks, you
can always pick up another for $5 at a garage sale.  Try that with a
Realist.  :-)

Seriously, though, I've run a roll of Ektachrome 100 through mine and
didn't find the optics to be all THAT bad.  Definitely softer than my
Revere, somewhat hypo-stereo and only 4-perf, but not as bad as Gabriel
would have you believe (of course I might just have lucked out and
gotten a good one, but given my luck, I don't think so).

The three apertures are actually a step up from a non-adjustable,
one-time-use camera, box camera, Instamatic, etc. that your typical
consumer snap-shot-taker used to use.  And it's got a built in LED!
Two, even!  Wow!!

Yes, the Nishika was deliberately designed to deceive, but since we
all know that, let's try to be a little more objective about what the
camera can really do, shall we?  The Nishika bashing on this list
begins to smack of elitism.  (This is coming from an RBT X2B owner,
mind you.)

Can't we all just get along?
