Dr T, move over 8>),

I am also a proud owner of a custom designed achromat lorgnette viewer
hand made by Alan Lewis (however, this one is an improved custom model!)

The system came with:
*Lorgnette viewer with _adjustable_interocular_and_lens_angle_. Made of
 mahogany and brass.
*Mahogany storage case.
*Matching pedestal tilting viewcard stand. This stand holds the
viewcard (any size) at a comfortable viewing distance off of the table,
and allows the angle of the viewcard to be adjusted properly.

As a medium/large format stereo photographer, I have been having
problems properly viewing my prints because of their size (I use a c1900
5x7" stereo view camera). I approached Alan about this and he quickly
came up with this modified Lorgnette design. This viewer not only covers
this format, but has a little room to spare, even though I wear glasses.

The achromat lenses are truely great. Super sharp and no colors on a B&W
print. No eye strain whatsoever.

Knowing of my own construction inabilities, I truely respect those who
can design and build and deliver a quality product. I highly recommend
consulting Alan on viewer construction and purchases.

Now I can see what my camera has been seeing all along.
