Evaluation of LCD shutter glasses

LCD shutter glasses evaluation needed.
The option to put our stereo photos on the web to be viewable with
electronic shutter glasses will encounter a world that don=92t communicat=
e
together. Stereoscopic LCD shutter glasses have popped out from
different
companies.
In my opinion, the ease of use and comfortable wear including=20
compatible decoding modes for images and video on the Internet is a
must. Support for different platforms and a choice for wire or wireless
modes, preferably build into the glasses itself. Wanted even more,
unplug,
and it turns into wireless mode. A lot more must be added to any
evaluation list, like field of view, transmission values and important,
refresh rates. I hope that others who have experience with different
brand of LCD glasses can give some input here, so we all can share a
better deal when we decide to go shopping for LCD-glasses.
Here is a limited overview with active links and a few comments added
only.
Vrex VR surfer
The last user test of the Vrex VR surfer glasses, not long ago on the
list (thanks to Oliver Dean), shows how to save wasting your money and
not to look for the lowest price, but rather the quality features or
lack of it.=20

Kasan Corp 3D-MAX ( $ 200,-) Two types, wireless and wired.
The new wireless type does not yet support win95/NT. The Swedish URL
seems to be a dead site and is not updated. Who will be the first with
update news here?

Skylinc Inc Virtual Visor ($44,95) Like a group of others often
related to a fixed game package. A different brand sold in Norway don=92t
even support single sale of glasses. So if they breaks, your investment
will fast be at least double or triple the price of any quality stand
alone glasses only units.=20

NuVision 3-D SPEX ($99.95)

Stereographics Crystal Eyes( $595 ) SimulEyes $119 US
Excellent quality, but they use a propritary decoding mode! How shall
we communicate on the net ? Certainly not by a bag full of uncompatible
glasses.

Woobo Electronics Cyber Boy=20
A Game kind of package deal.

And last, latest news;
Microvision Virtual Retinal Display (VRD
Something in between VR and/or stereoscopic glasses. A laser scans
18 million pixels at 60 hz refesh rate onto the retina of both eyes,
eliminating
the screen and monitor all together.
