Viewing Anaglyphs

I have to agree with Dr-T that viewing anaglyphs have never been as
satisfying to me as viewing slides through a red button viewer. However,
I have to admit that I have nothing to use but my one and only red/blue
cardboard viewer, and I usually get some ghosting. Dr-T made a good
point, that maybe in better light, with a slightly different colored
viewer, the strength of each eye may match better, thus reducing or
eliminating the ghosting. I wonder about red/green or red/cyan, for
instance...... I have also wondered if viewing anaglyphs depends on a
person's strength of vision in each eye. Why do some people love it so
much when I find it just so-so?
