You are very welcome! Fire 'em!

>1. Stereo photography hitted the market twice. Why it declined each time?

Aha! Now we are moving to graduate level course! At the top of the
facts one can only find speculation. Some say the cars, the magazines,
the newspapers, the TV, people got bored, excitement wore off, the masses
could not handle the Realist, slides got out of fashion, card views became
a "grandpa" thing, alignment is important, stereo is difficult to do,
not everyone can see 3d, bad reputation developed, etc., etc. These and
other answers have been given and discussed here in photo-3d. No one has
the definite answer and, most probably, the answer is a result of a number
of things. Let's wait for the third round of popularity and then will all
know... :)

>2. What is 7-p Realist red button convertion?

The Realist red button and most slide viewers from the 50s were designed
to only show the 5-p slides that the cameras from the same companies were
taking. If you put a 7-p slide (that is, a slide mounted in a wider
"European" format) then part of the image will be cut off. Today, 7-p
format is popular because the FED and all SLR cameras can give you 7p
(and so does my Realist!!!). A need exists for opening the apertures
of not only the Realist red button but also other viewers. This is a
rather simple operation (compared to what Sam the Hacker or John
Slivon, the 7p Realist surgeon, are doing) so, it is perfect for me!!!

>I would like to introduce your stuff to SST(Stereogrpahic Society of Taipei).

Sure, be my guest... but it is not "my" stuff. I have copied them from
others. So, feel safe to say that they are YOUR stuff. OK?

Also, please omit the last highlight about DrT. That was a joke!!!

Best regards and say "Hi" from me to all our friends in Taipei, especially
Mr. Chang Chih-Hsu, a very good customer for many USA 3D suppliers!
