Building a Stereo Pinhole Camera

After recently stumbling across the web page for the Argus 3D Camera
<URL:http://www.acpress.com/argus.htm> (which takes half frame images
on 35mm film using a beam splitter) and discussing the availability of
viewers (which use regular 3x5 or 4x6 prints, not separately printed
and mounted images) with the distributor, I have decided to build a
4x5 stereo pinhole camera.

My plan is to build a wooden box camera with a pair of pinholes and a
divider separating the two halves of the camera. The images would be
on a single sheet of regular or Polaroid film, and I would view either
the Polaroids, or a contact print from a 4x5 negative. A future
possibility is another box camera with two film holders and a whole
sheet of film for each pinhole. It would be much nicer to use a
bellows, and therefore be able to collapse the camera when not in use,
but I hvaen't figured out a good way to make a collapsible divider
yet.

After starting on this project (I haven't finished the first camera
yet) I came across this mail list and the FTP site with its various
files. I have read the FAQ (3dfaq.pdf, revision 1.1, January 5,
1995). I would like to know if there is a book covering a general
introduction to 3D techniques similar to Eric Renner's book "Pinhole
Photography - Rediscovering a Historic Technique". Having one place
to read up on all of my questions would probably save some time and
trouble.
