Uh... I think you answered your own question. Kodak hit the big time with what
amounts to "disposables". You got your camera with film preloaded, you took pictures
with your camera, you then sent it to the factory, and the pictures were returned.
This seems to be the *same* model that 3Discover is talking about.
The only possible difference is that Kodak returned your camera refilled. But
then, current day disposables supposedly are actually partially recycled, so
that one difference in method may not be a big difference. If 3Discover bundles
the cost of a "new" camera with the processing (returns a "new" camera along
with the photos) then the marketting model is *exactly* the same!
And it certainly worked for Kodak.
