Another interesting new item was shown by Deutsche Telekom (German Telecom):
they have developed a special codec to transmit live stereo video images
over an ATM link. Quite useful for long-distance medical consultations.

Sure enough! The magazine is already being printed (there's a two page
article about CeBIT in it, with follow-up articles with more in-depth
infomation scheduled for the next issues).
